I jeszcze parę uwag na temat od jednego znajomka:
This beacon(Arva Evo 3) is not popular in North America and I have no direct
knowledge of this one. The three antennas are excellent. This will
give you a lot of features that the tracker 2 will not. Tracker is
excellent, proven and reliable. However range is limited, and if you
have a deep burial or multiple burial, the Evo will be much easier.
(in theory) Tracker 3 is ready as prototype. I have seen it in action.
It lacks features that some of the current generation beacons provide.
It might be very good, but I would not purchase one until it has been
on the market for one season. I use a Barryvox Pulse. I would
recommend this one it has less flaws than the competition, but it is
expensive, The Otrovox S1 and Pieps DSP are very poor products. I
owned an S1 for a short time and returned it to the store. Very, very
poor results if searching for more than one beacon. I was on a beacon
race to retrieve 4 burials with 25 other people. The two worst times
were from Pieps DSP. (very experienced operators!) The new three
antenna digitals are good, but far from automatic, except for the
single burials where it is very easy. You will need to practise often
at first because they can actually be more confusing then older
beacons. - but they will be a lot more effective once you understand
the confusing parts.
Good season for skiing this year in Canada. Now unfortunately we have a
persistant snow weakness that is "low risk, high consequence". Hard to
plan where to ski! |
